Olivia Abächerli (*1992) works on the threshold between the intimate, the personal and the question of its political potential.
The artist deals with this field of tension through the most diverse forms of expression and media. Her works are regularly presented in solo and group exhibitions. Among them at espace libre, Biel (2022); Kunstmuseum Luzern (2022); M8 Art Space, Helsinki (2019) and at the WASBiennale, Berlin (2019). Olivia Abächerli has been awarded several prizes and scholarships, including the Aeschlimann Corti Scholarship (2022) and the Visual Art Award of the cantons of Obwalden & Nidwalden (2018).
