Bodo Korsig (*1962 in Zwickau, DE) lives and works between Trier and New York. His artistic work is mainly focused on spatial installations, sculptures and videos. Since 1992 he has exhibited in over 200 galleries and museums worldwide. Among others, at the Leonardimuseum Dresden (2007), DE, Fukumitsu Art Museum, JPN (2002), Smart Museum of Art Chicaco, USA (2002), Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck, DE (2011), as well as at the ZKM Karlsruhe, DE (2015). He has received 20 international prizes and scholarships, including the Kunstfonds Scholarship (1996), the Largo das Artes Artist Residency (2015) and the Innovation Prize for Art and Culture (2021). In addition, his work is represented in over 50 national and international museums, such as the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C., Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York, Czech Museum of Fine Arts, Prague and Museum Pfalzgalerie Kaiserslautern.
