Rebekka Friedli
Rebekka Friedli (*1989) lives and works as a video artist in Bern and Zurich. After a BA in Film (Zurich University of the Arts) and an MA of Fine Arts (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts) she developed her own practice with a focus on videos and video installations. In her work, she transfers metaphorical concepts into audiovisual experiences, thereby allowing perceptions and valuations that are hidden in everyday language to become recognizable. She is co-founder of Kollektiv Beton, whose recent video installation SKIES premiered at BaseCamp by Locarno Film Festival, CH. Her work has been shown at Photoforum Pasquart, CH, Kunstmusem Thun, CH, Kunstmuseum Olten, CH and Encontros da Imagem, PT, among others.
