Jeannette Ehlers
Jeannette Ehlers (*1973, lives in Copenhagen, Denmark) graduated in 2006 from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In her artistic work, she tackles Denmark’s colonial past. Her works include the mediums, photography, video, and performance. In 2018 she and La Vaughn Belle created the monumental sculpture I am Queen Mary in public space to commemorate the resistance to Danish colonial rule in the Caribbean.
