Franziska Lauber
Franziska Lauber (*1969) is a visual artist. Her installations and video works examine points of contact with animals and reflect concepts of landscape, forest, and temporality. They often emphasize transience and disappearance, which unfolds throughout her exhibitions. Franziska Lauber is a trained animal communicator and specializes in animal and environmental ethics in artistic practice. She holds a Master of Arts in Public Spheres from édhéda in Sierre (CH) and is a board member of the SARN (Swiss Artistic Research Network), as well as the founder of the SARN working group Sense of Coexistence. The artist's works are exhibited nationally and internationally, including venues such as Gepard14 (Bern, CH), Cloister Gallery – SJA Arts (Oxford, GB), KASKO (Basel, CH), and the International Film Festival Experiments in Cinema (Albuquerque, USA). Franziska Lauber lives and works in Bern.
